COVID-19--Protocols we use to keep everyone safe

We have implemented a strict COVID-19 protocol for ourselves and our patients. This has changed the way we all enter into the office space and wanted to let you know what you

can expect upon your arrival. We are putting these extra precautionary steps in place to

ensure the safety of our patients and staff in this new environment. We are limiting

physical contact between patients and staff as much as possible and have implemented

the following policies:

  • We are limiting the number of clients that come into the office each day. We are also limiting the number of patients allowed into the office at any given time. Our goal is to limit your contact with other individuals while you are here.

  • We would like for everyone who comes into the office to wear a mask. These can be cloth, surgical, or N-95.

  • We ask all patients to wait in the car until it is time for your appointment. When you arrive at our office, please call the front desk and let us know you are here (828-253-5844). Please come alone to all appointments unless you require a family member or aide in your appointment. They will be asked to wait in the car.

  • We ask that you leave all personal belongings in the car and bring only your keys and a credit card into the office at the time of your appointment. Things to leave in the car include, cell phones, hats, jackets, purses/backpacks, etc.

  • As you enter the office, we have marked out areas at the front desk for you to deposit your keys and credit card. You will then be asked to proceed to the bathroom and wash your hands. This procedure will be reversed as you leave. Don ft worry if this all sounds confusing, we will guide you through the process.

  • We are asking patients to not sit in any of the chairs in the waiting room and treatment room to decrease your contact and exposure. You can enter a treatment room and sit on an exam table as you wait for Dr. Graham. This will help to minimize the number of surfaces you contact while in the office.

  • There will be no sign in sheet, no forms to fill out, no credit card slips to sign. This will decrease the amount of surfaces that you touch. Please observe the safe distance markers on the floor surrounding the front desk and remember not to touch or lean against the front desk during your interactions.

  • Staff is cleaning high traffic areas (bathrooms, door handles, faucet and toilet flush levers, etc.) regularly. The treatment rooms, adjusting instruments, and tables are thoroughly disinfected after each patient.

  • We are requiring all patients to wash their hands as they enter and before they leave the office. We feel this is a better and safer practice than the use of hand sanitizer.

  • If you have symptoms (cough, sore throat, fever, loss of smell or taste) or have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19, do not come into the office. Call us so we can reschedule your appointment.

  • If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 within two weeks following you appointment, please call and inform us so that we can be alerted to the possibility of exposure to other individuals.

Please be patient with us as we navigate this new world we are all in and strive to create

the safest environment for our patients and staff. If you have any questions about the

above, please call the office at (828) 253-5844
